Tokyo is experiencing a recent boom in craft bakeries because more and more Japanese people are beginning to doubt the additives and quality in bread produced by large chain bakeries. Therefore, many people are turning towards bakers who use more natural and healthier ingredients.
I had the chance to shoot photos around the most prestigious craft bakeries of the city to accompany an article written by Jessica Thompson for SAVEUR Magazine.
The goal of this shoot was to capture the bakeries' behind the scene atmosphere as well as showcasing the enticing results of the craft.
